On its own, things do happen

I turn unruly day by day

why it happens, how it happens

hard to guess, tough to say

can’t halt, not able to restrain

on its own things do happen

Eyes agape, yet getting lost

dunk deep in someone's thought

clarity grubby, settings hazy

out put zero, feigning busy,

gaze skywards, keep on smiling

at fast pace, events happening

can't reason, can not explain

on its own things do happen

Dreams do haunt, each second

fatigued to stop, arduous to end

lids droop down, eyes get shut

unusuals occur, too abrupt

sensibility steadily leaks away

in calm too, distressed to stay

trying to recollect who am I?

find no answer to multiple whys

foggy mind turns me coward

inertly  getting over powered,

all crop up, reason unknown

on its own things do happen

Restless heart denies to listen

patience melts in petite time

evidently arrive, need to wait

a meek march, a hypnotic gait

a knock on doors in d' offings

It’ll be life's memorable thing

mind in turmoil, can’t pacify

unable to resist, can not defy

held up to hear, d’ rustling tone

on its own things do happen

Can’t reckon, assess own status

at rapid pace, changes rush

wish rain dance, where’s d’ rain

desires turn invalid, go in vain

sport spoiled, yet wait for chance

can't guess if failed in romance

can't sustain, can’t refrain

on its own things do happen

Genocide from liquor drought

Empty bottles tossing around,

on the bedroom floor

no drop of liquor left,

for morning hangover

Got shut all beer bars,

d' States are going dry

no pals for a relaxing booze

no palate pleasing French fry

Head lines say, ban on liquor,

tore in to pieces, today’s paper

any substitute, unable to think

no Benadryl to replace drinks

wrongly gulped shampoo liquid

from all orifices, foam
getting released
An idea clicked in tiny moment

to feed d’ cow, beer ingredients

Barley, wheat, jowar unripe crops

to leisurely munch d’ offered stuff
 Whispered gently into cow’s ear

no more milk please, only beer

No yield, it chewed entire fodder

tried to milch beer from its udder

Chased me far, charged with horns

need no beer, pl. excuse my mom
War on wine ban, a revolution

so a dry daze in entire nation

Moms wait, to take their kids

drunkards lie naked in d’ streets

Own money spent for beer buy

law can’t stop d’ indecent guys

A despotic drought of alcohol

only way to snatch from a pal

grabbed a bottle ,took a gulp

no booze, its milk in a beer pack

all outlets shut, a ban on liquor

irritation made me, pull my hair

Only hope,
 a deaddiction center

first a warm welcome,
next, drip started by sister

Saline pumped into my vein

hard to endure, how long I can!

lastly a bottle
with ward boy support

exchanged for
 a hundred rupee note
Tube pulled out of vein,
put into mouth,

content gushed to my pout

cramps ceased fast,
nicely it worked

d' ward boy I blessed,
 from core of my heart
If rulers wish to help out
in this crisis condition
consignment be dropped
by drone, at d' destination

For creating d' dry spell,
cursed Governments, out and out

who caused this
genocide from liquor drought
