Retreat into your shell

A resolute to walk extra miles,

and no bit of tiredness

do ample things significant

without brief rest

Requisite benchmarks crossed,

yet attainments go unobserved

Generates resentment, stress,

efforts unidentified, all a waste

Not a word of appreciation,

I’m upset, that’s d’ reason

Make pertinent points,
U're ignored
 or stuffed to a sandwich & devoured
D’ issue if not addressed soon,

things of course may worsen

frustration to get translated

in to lack of motivation

Performance be in decline,

Good works ignored, not a healthy sign

Petty shortfalls purposely pointed out,

fault finding d’ only way out

Unable to follow d’ expectations,

For commendable acts, no appreciation

Out dated gadgets not replaced

No maintenance done

Quality work suffers,

no proper supervision

Only concern, fund collection,

gain of d’ trade oriented institution

High professional levels not desired,

bosses absolutely biased

A detrimental situation,

no genuine expectations

Speaking up also won’t help,

Just to casually pull on

maintain a low profile,

move along with d’ team

d’ only solution,

but not to sacrifice own skills,

no steer away from power of will

then what do you do!

What’s d’ right course of action

pace obviously retarded

yet a strong determination,

skill gained by years of hard work

to be used for suffering alleviation

With repeated attempts,

things not changing, won’t alter

situations unable to handle,

 look for a better avenue,

or retreat in to your shell

as if a docile turtle

All in waiting

If hesitancy melts and I’m bold,

so much untold waits to be told

Scores of germane time's gone,

many undone needs to be done

Ample concerns to be conveyed,

all in waiting though its delayed

Tons of good will I shower on U

Your unendurable departure,

made me a pitiable creature

time elapsed, then I realized

U've made me rich and wise

Bodily presence or absence,

 hardly makes any difference

U generated d’ magic spark,

illuminated my path in dark


 

 
Taught, inert life how shape,

to fetch a feather for my cap

task turned vibrant, amazing

a thanks giving in d' waiting

You made me remember it,

abrupt stop means a defeat

d' defeat never be accepted

only aim is to march ahead




If left forlorn on d' way side,

 locate d' terminus, do stride

reshape, be self made man,

have vision to spot d' gems

In your palms, my face held

for a kiss on my forehead

I'm on track, apt in achieving

forehead kiss yet in waiting


 

All d' sincerity, entire effort

put together to come to top

to accomplish job meagre,

won't be sufficient enough 


Figure d' disfigured faces,

contour d' ugly body parts

excellence ought to erupt

 if engaged mind and heart

Done!, rejoice with a drink

before toast overtly a clink

mood is on for celebrating

drink, clink both in waiting

You only taught me d' theme

not to trade with my dreams,

U insisted on, not to auction

my valued creative passion


Thousand poems to be over

then only a high five for sure

soon d' endeavour to be over

your bargain still I remember




Hand not yet up, towards sky

over the head for a high five

writing, avidly enumerating

a warm high five in waiting

 
U came as a lesson in my life

while I stood on a cross road

totally perplexed, confused

aimless, indigent character

thank you for your departure

won't accept defeat any more




Heart needs to break once

 truly broken and shattered

held back a crumbling down

no wait for soothing words

Got rejuvenated on my own

work's on, passion blooming

managed events from mind

so in waiting a warm hugging

Hurriedly heart I can't donate

remain with an empty chest

 full with life, a delightful man

 beating heart won't miss again

Perceive in heart, decides brain

broke the link of misery chain

oath taken, d' act not to repeat

same blunders, not to commit

from the glassware I'm sipping

lusty cheers of course in waiting


 

You came to my life as a lesson

taught a lot, but departed soon

a tough terrain I went through

u guided, so I owe thanks to U

 

Couldn't call u dear or darling,

never wiped the tear trickling

I proved unfit to render solace,

hard times U passed in silence


Easily forgot entire happening

in spite of all d' short comings

with fingers you made a v sign

I'm really indebted to u darling

To bear pain of your departure,

causes turmoil in life altogether

if pathless, be a pole star to me
