To spread well-being, do only good

He appeared awfully worried,

his li'l sister not found, missing

d' tiny one only four years old,

somewhere might be weeping

How to look for her in d' market,

got baffled and couldn't be sure

looked back, took an about-turn,

amazingly he could see his sister

Eyes glued to a toy, mouth open,

feet as if stuck to d' toy shop floor

intently watching d' adored stuff,

absolutely forgotten her brother

He walked down, pat on her back,

asked, "do you want something?"

sister nodded, pointed at a doll,

love its ponytail hair, its clothing

Held her hand, as an able brother,

after all, she is two years younger

picked up d' doll from d' cupboard,

passed it on, to please his li'l sister

She held it with utmost attention,

felt with fingers, gentle and slow

her heart filled with immense joy,

face lighted up with a glaring glow

The entire episode as it happened,

keenly observed by d' shopkeeper

too amused by d' matured conduct,

of the elder kid towards his sister

How much to pay for the doll, sir?

asked the owner in d' shop counter

shopowner smiled, behaved cool,

asked, what can you pay my dear?

Swiftly took out shells from d' pocket,

he had collected from d' seashore

put d' entire stuff on owner's desk,

with least reluctance to hand over

He counted with enough attention,

as if he were counting d' currency

gave a glance at the unfazed boy,

the lad got worried if a deficiency

Searched own empty pocket again,

is it less? sir, asked with concern

no, no it's more than the cost of it,

some of these shells I've to return

He in d' end kept only four shells,

and paid him back the remaining

d' boy put those back in d' pocket,

smiled, with d' kid started walking

The servant got utterly surprised,

keenly watched d' entire episode,

a costly doll, just for four shells?

can't imagine, it appears so odd

Might be mere shells for u and me,

for him, those are overly precious

can't cognize merit of money now,

one day he will follow it of course

A positive attitude he will develop

obviously then, he ought to recall

the world is full of good people,

only for 4 shells, could buy a doll

Will be motivated to do only good,

d' power of positivity, rest assured

an endless flow of spark for mankind,

goodness will be back in manifold

D' emotions infused into his mind,

promote in him a positive attitude

he too, in turn, will feel motivated,

to spread well-being, do only good
